When Vandy vape brings out a novelty, it always arouses interest because it is a very innovative company. This time we are presenting with a mod that, not being groundbreaking in design, innovates mainly in its electronic part. As the main function connectivity with the mobile through an APP, you can locate the device, update the firmware and do almost everything you do from the buttons.
The Swell Mod by Vandy Vape & Tony B. comes in a box with a printed photo of the product, the name of the brand, that of the Mod and that of the designer, the well-known YouTuber Tony B.Inside we find the usual paper material, the USB cable ... and of course the Swell. The Swell is a dual battery Mod, completely composed of plastic materials with very soft and anatomical lines.
In front view, the activation button locates recessed for protecting from accidental firing. Also, there are an LED screen, adjustment buttons, and Micro USB port on the panel. In the upper part, it is the 510 connector, which can accommodate atoms up to 26mm. On the bottom, we find three small vent holes and the slits to lift the doors. Laterally, there are two removable panels in plastic, multi-colored resin or plastic material, equipped with magnets, which allow excellent closure. Depending on the panels, the Swell has a different weight. With the plastic and resin panels, it is about 92g. The panels determine not only the aesthetics and the weight but change the grip and also the anatomy considerably.
The Swell Mod has a delivery range of 5 to 188w in increments of one Watt. Usually, it is five clicks to turn on and off the Swell, while pressing up and down keys simultaneously, we will enter the icon menu.
The display is in color, simple and bright, where we find the Watts set, the Ohms, the Volts, the number of puffs, and the duration of the same and the indicator of the remaining battery charge. A special feature of this box mod is the possibility to connect it via Bluetooth to the Vandy Vape app, downloadable from Play Store.
Use and personal impressions:
The keys work perfectly, the delivery is instantaneous, and the wattage is realistic, at least in the first 100w. The Swell is solid, well built, and light enough. The interesting waterproofing feature protects us from liquid infiltration and allows us to wash it with water (PCBA Waterproof).
I find it very ergonomic and pleasant to use. The Swell is certainly not a desk mod. Instead, it is ideal for those who like light, not delicate, easy to use in everyday life, but without giving up a more than the discreet circuit.
