To be honest, I love Vaporesso products very much, you can rarely see something disastrous from them. The devices of this company have been in my hands more than once, but for the first time in the review. Guess what's in the review? Yes, of course, a sub-system . Let's go look at the Vaporesso Luxe XR Pod Kit.

I'll start the story right away with the following: two devices from Vaporesso appeared on the market almost simultaneously - Luxe X and Luxe XR . And I'll tell you that these devices are absolutely identical, the only difference is in the cartridge: the X comes out of the box with a cartridge with a built-in evaporator, the XR has a cartridge with a replaceable evaporator of a common series, moreover, the cartridges are interchangeable. Why, and most importantly, what for? It's not clear ...

The device comes in a cardboard box. Inside is the device itself, two cartridges, two evaporators, a Type-C charging cord, and waste paper. Compared to the previous sub-systems that I reviewed, this package can even be called rich.

The device itself looks like a plump, smoothed, moderately compact stick that looks like something from the Smok Nord series . Almost the entire body is made of transparent plastic, through which you can see all the insides of our sub-system, it looks nice, futuristic, but I'm afraid after a couple of months the device will not look very nice. The upper part for landing the cartridge is made of metal. In my case, this element was steel-colored, I collected prints with a bang, and they were not removed very easily.

The edges of the case are smoothed, there are no sharp corners. It is pleasant and comfortable to hold in your hand.

In the design elements of the hearth, we see a working button, a charging port via Type-C, indicator lines under the plastic, and that's it. There is nothing else. In my opinion, given the presentable appearance, as well as the price tag, this device really lacks a screen and normal adjustment of the puff tightness. (we were given only a pseudo-adjustment, by turning the cartridge 180 degrees, but I didn’t notice a difference)

The battery on board is very good, 1500 mAh, although with the same dimensions Smok Nord 5 contained 2000 mAh. The charging current is normal - 1.5 amperes, some have less.

Cartridge on replaceable evaporators, but separately there are also cartridges with built-in evaporators. The mouthpiece of the cartridge is flattened, comfortable, the cartridge itself is held on magnets very well. The cartridge capacity is generally excellent, not every sub-system can now boast a 5 ml capacity. Refilling the cartridge is implemented by opening the tab at the bottom of the cartridge, respectively, each refilling of the cartridge must be removed from the body of the device. By the way, I really liked the strap, it is thick, it clings well, it is normally inserted and removed.

The device works only from a button, unfortunately, the device does not work from a puff. For protection, a puff cut-off after 8 seconds is provided.

The battery indicator lights up while vaping:
One bar: less than 30% charge.
Two bars: 30 to 60% charge.
Three bars: 60 to 100% charge.

The taste of the device is standard, good for a mesh evaporator, but the puff is very loose, turning the cartridge to adjust the tightness of the puff does not give any profit, and the use of MTL evaporators did not change the situation either. The seal is good, no leaks.

Conclusions:

The result for this sub-system is this - this is a device for a specific user. It’s quite good, but it didn’t quite cope with all the declared functions, and the feeling that it wasn’t completed to the end, and immediately sent to release, the screen would obviously not hurt him, since the device does not look like a budget device, and it’s a little expensive. In any case, if you are a fan of free puff, then it is quite possible to buy it.
Speaking of price, the Sourcemore.com store asks $ 22.99 for the device, the price is tolerable, but on the Russian market the price gradation is from 2100 to 2700 rubles. Well, it's a bit much, really ... Smok Nord 5 at an almost identical cost is much cooler.

Pros+:
- good taste
- light weight for its size
- capacious battery
- convenient refueling
- good assembly

Cons -:
- glossy plastic case and easily soiled metal
- lack of the declared tightening variability
- high price for its functionality
