Undoubtedly one of its main advertising claims is the integral manufacture of the casing in CNC with aerospace aluminum that combines hardness and low weight. Regarding the Clearomizer that comes in the Kit, the NRG-S is a clearomizer that is not new and that we have already seen before.

THE MOD:

With a totally rectangular and symmetrical design, the Vaporesso GEN X bets on a very very classic and elegant design. Its shape is totally a rectangle, with the 4 rounded corners, but with the lateral edges quite marked and undisguised. In hand it is perceived as a low weight double battery Mod, but not entirely comfortable since its ergonomics are null and it is not what it seeks, above it seeks a visual attraction. In its favor, I will say that the touch of aluminum is soft and pleasant, although quite slippery due to the null inclusion of any type of engraving. The aluminum and CNC construction gives it perfect finishes while being very low weight, the lid fits and closes very well and does not rattle at all. The treatment or coating of the aluminum is well done and is not perceived as problematic.

The 510 head made of SS and with a copper finish is correct and centered but does not admit atos of more than 25mm. without them flying. I do not know if this new edition has solved the problems that the previous GENs had with the fixing of the head throughout use, but I understand that, if the case has been redesigned 100%, as well as its new materials used, this should be already corrected.

At the bottom, we have the outputs for the breathing of the batteries, very correct. Already on the side/front, we find the screen (which, although small, looks very good), as well as the usual buttons, all of them with very good touch and practically zero clicks. Inside, the battery holder is very correct and holds them very well, there is no marking.

Regarding the electronics to say because it is already well known, appreciated and tested, the AXON chip provides a very good and fast response, a good battery discharge compensation, as well as a good performance with them if as a negative point I would highlight that it continues with the old Micro-USB, which in this facelift should have already upgraded to type "C". The information on the screen, although small is correct and sufficient, the navigation through the menus is a bit confusing but you get to it.

THE CLAROMIZER:

The Clearomizer that includes NRG-S TANK is not new and is very similar to NRG PE. Both the NRG-S and the NRG PE are updated versions of the original NRG tanks and the NRG SE tanks for me one of the best and most proven models of the brand that use the resistance of the GT range, durable, easy to find and not the most expensive. In a week of use, it has not given me problems of splashes, losses or condensation. The mechanizations and adjustments are good and it has a very good air regulation, although it is somewhat noisy. Consumption is consistent with its production of steam, which is high with low ohmic resistance and the taste is more than correct.

MY PERSONAL CONCLUSIONS:

Undoubtedly quality product, elegant, with very good finishes, also very good performance but not very comfortable in hand. Side ridges are noticeable and not pretty. Due to its lightweight it is ideal for transport and the value for money is what Vaporesso has used to. For my part, although I prefer the Luxe II heavier, it has a much better screen and is much more comfortable in hand, it also has the same electronics.

In the POSITIVE section I would highlight:

- Elegant design, very good finishing qualities
- Excellent electronics with a simple interface
- Aluminum housing, lightweight
- 0.91 ”TFT screen with a very good definition and that looks quite good.
- Buttons with a little click and comfortable
- Good battery management
- Clearomizer with a very good Vapor / Flavor performance and with possibilities of many resistances

In the NEGATIVE / IMPROVEMENTS section I would highlight:

- The lateral edges take away comfort in hand
- With the Pirex of Mounted bubble if it is tipped sideways, is what takes the hit and can break easily
- The batteries are not identified AB and the charge is indicated together
- USB Type Micro USB
- I think it could have been a little more compact.
