INTRODUCTION
Today I bring you a new Mod, the result of the third collaboration between VAPEFLY and the German Expert Group GERMAN 103.
This Mod with the possibility of use with 18650, 20700 and 21700 batteries with up to a maximum power of 200W wants to make a gap between The most cutting-edge electronic Mods with an elegant and sober design as well as modern and current.
With a 100% German design and logically a production in China, we have a slightly different product than what we are used to seeing lately, the difference with the comparable models of its competitors is very evident.
How have I seen and felt it? let's go scan-near it!

THE PRODUCT:
Construction, Quality and Design: The construction quality of the KRIEMHILD is very premium, far exceeding the standard quality, the joints of the rear leather finish with the metal could have been adjusted a bit more, in order to achieve excellence, although I recognize that I am sometimes too perfectionist and I am talking about tenths of a millimeter.
The Zinc injected body is heavy in hand, but conveys noteworthy quality and comfort. The touch offered by the side and rear simile leather finish helps this, it is really nice and comfortable but heavy, that if ... it is the typical Mod to have it in a fixed place and not transport it much.
The upper and asymmetrical design houses a very good head with floating pin but not centered in depth that can accommodate without flying atomizers up to 29 or 30 mm maximum. On the sides at the bottom it has air outlet holes for internal ventilation and security. On the front we find the trigger button, fully integrated flush, which is sometimes difficult to find, but continued use and engraving make it easier for you to get used to it. Below we find the screen that is quite large and with the characters of a good size, the quality of the screen looks very correct and with very good definition. It should be noted that it does not have a VV output, only VW or TC.
The +/- buttons have a touch very similar to the trigger, that is, they have little travel and a bit hard, but they feel good. To finish, we find a USB type C connector covered with a silicone cover, which more than to ensure any tightness is to hide and not break the aesthetics of the Mod, that if it is not comfortable to open since it is very integrated.
The design of the cover in this product deserves a separate chapter, at the bottom it has a closure that when moving it leaves you half the Mod case in your hand, moving it backwards. The batteries are only supported on the front part, it is when you re-enter the cover in its guides and push when you hear a click that ensures the closure and connection of the batteries, if you shake the Mod very hard you may notice a slight rattle, but in normal use nothing is noticeable.
With 5 presses on the fire button you turn the KRIEMHILDE on or off, with 4 presses you access the menu that is very intuitive, clear and simple.
Note that as I get to me I found a new firmware version that corrects or improves some aspects and that I advise you to update, these changes are:
- The clock can be turned off.
- Starting at 21 watts, the increase / decrease range changes in steps of 1 watt.
- "Low Battery" reminder texts are removed; When the battery voltage
drops to 3.3V, the two battery icons will turn red and blink 10 times, reminding us to recharge or change batteries.
- The display of the charge level will always be on during USB charging
- The Mod can only be activated with 5 clicks; When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, the Mod will not turn on automatically.
- When the "Kriemhild" logo light is off, the color of the power display on the screen can still be changed, instead of being gray.
- The resistance change threshold for the detection of a new coil has changed to 0.05 Ohm.
MY PERSONAL CONCLUSIONS:
Very advisable and quality product, yes, as long as you like heavy Mods.
It is a very elegant and well-made Mod, with precise and quality electronics, good screen and simple and practical navigation between options, without superfluous options and oriented to pacticity ... very German. Good finishes, but I emphasize, not designed to carry from one place to another. It is the typical equipment to enjoy it at home, do you recommend buying it? .... in my opinion TOTALLY, if you are going to use it at home or at work without transporting it.
In the POSITIVE section I would highlight:
- Very original and comfortable battery holder design
- Good battery management
- Good screen with very good visibility
- Very intuitive and simple menus
- Allows you to turn off the back lighting
- Good Head
- Compatible with any type of battery
- Very good qualities
In the NEGATIVE and / or IMPROVEMENTS section I would highlight:
- Heavy mod
- Time indication on the main screen too small
- Slight marking if you shake it vigorously
