Let's touch??? - Vapefly Alberich MTL RTA...
I haven't written in a while - reviews are really tight right now. However, one interesting guest did visit me - a new cigarette box from Vapefly. I perfectly understand that I was very late with my opus, but this is not my fault - delivery is now, alas, lame. A lot has already been said about the subject - I'll add my five cents.
We start with the appearance and it is quite decent. Yes, the tank does not have enough stars from heaven and does not catch the eye of onlookers, but the exterior is quite neat and restrained. For a cigarette lover, you know, it's the best. The dimensions are average - a small diameter, but the height is already “good”. But the weight "unpleasantly surprised" - 60g for such a small tank, as for me, a bit too much. However, there is also a positive point - due to the massiveness of the metal parts, the subject copes well with heating during operation.
The cigarette case is crowned with a plastic drip type of decent quality - I'm talking about the material. Landing is not the tightest, 510th. Like the lid, it is endowed with a small step. The inner diameter is a little over 3mm, which is quite small, in my opinion. Perhaps due to the aforementioned fact, perhaps due to the peculiarities of my winding, but it soldered with condensate - I had to replace it with my copy. To this point, for a better understanding of the situation, we will return a little later.
Filling top, the cover is fixed in half a turn. The edges are sharp, but this moment does not create discomfort, because the opening is not tight. At the same time, the fixation is sufficient - the fit is tight, and the bottom of the lid is lined with a massive silicone gasket. Filling holes are huge by cigarette standards, moreover, they are covered with slot-type plugs. The latter fact is a “significant” plus, if we take into account the absence of a fluid supply adjustment constructs. When the tank is turned over while the lid is tightened, the liquid will not spill out, it will not even get under the lid.
Capacity is normal, especially in a larger version. However, I am in no hurry to write it down as a plus only because the tank is, in fact, a station wagon, and for such a device I consider such a reserve adequate. A larger flask and a shaft extension are provided as capacity-enhancing elements. By the way, in general, the package can be praised - the set in the box is really rich. A remarkable moment here is the yellow plastic bulb, the glass is already transparent.
Let's move on to the deck, however, there is nothing new here, and this is even good. A pair of posts for the correct fixation of only one spiral wound in any direction, the location of the latter opposite each other. The screws are large, "under the cross", spare identical. For positioning the spiral on the sides there are recesses - convenient.
In general, maintaining the base is a simple matter, but, as always, I have something to add. Although the racks have side stops, the screws are slightly smaller than the groove in the racks, therefore, even the cigarette fuse is knocked out from under them and clamped in fact between the screw and the stopper. Needless to say about the small monofilament - you have to wrap it around the screw. But something else really "unpleasantly surprised" - when fixing, the screws squeeze the legs of the spiral into the deck, thereby deforming the winding, even if it is put on the frame.
As for the laying of cotton wool, its ends are simply laid in special gutters, as it has become “fashionable” now. There are, perhaps, no specific nuances here - the ends are cut off along the border of the base, fluffed up and pre-wetted. Cotton is fed from above through a couple of small holes. There is no dome as such here - steam is taken directly into the shaft - the evaporation chamber turns out to be quite small. By the way, the diameter of the shaft is approximately 3.5mm.
And here we return to the condensate in the drip type. I didn’t comb the cotton wool - I just put it in the ditches, a slight liquid starvation was felt somewhere after 5-7 puffs in a row. But it was worth waiting a few seconds and everything was in order. That is, it turns out that there is no overflow at all (and, by the way, it did not happen during the tests) - then where does so much condensate come from? Perhaps these are the features of my winding and laying cotton wool, but nevertheless, these two events contradict each other. Most likely, this is due to too long channels for cotton, which do not allow its ends to be lowered to the bottom of the deck to collect excess condensate. Here I propose to interrupt for a while and return to this moment a little later, again for a better understanding of the situation) Pardon me - I love it when everything is laid out on the shelves ...
As a result, I probably won’t praise the service process - there are still a lot of nuances here, especially for beginners. I remember the same Sure, although it has a similar construct, but it is actually problem-free in this regard. By the way, about fixing the deck inside the tank - it is only oring - rather weak. Of course, the top does not fly off, even if you lift the tank with the mod together by it, but still I would like a more reliable fixation. And one more unpleasant moment, now already in aesthetic terms - the tip does not sit on the base completely - this is especially striking on dark versions.
We smoothly move on to the airflow - it is a classic lower one - especially good news for me. Replaceable nozzle pins are proposed as the only possible option for adjusting its intensity. In total, the kit provides 6 options, which is pretty good - 0.8 /1.0 /1.3 /1.6 /2.0 /2.5mm. They offer good variability, even if their step is not quite familiar. You can change them to hot - this is naturally very convenient.
There is only one air intake hole - it is of medium size - there is no adjustment for blowing by rotation, as I said. At the same time, the puff is noisy, or rather, it’s not even noise, but some kind of sniffing - as if there is a small amount of liquid in the channel. Perhaps here again it is worth returning to the condensate at the bottom of the deck. Although the outlet nozzles have a slight rise, their connection with the deck is not laid with orings. It is quite possible that condensate in a meager amount penetrates into the deck in this way, but again, the sniffing does not come from the external hole on the tank, but apparently from the pin at the inlet.
It remains to deal with the taste transfer and other important charms. I can say that she did not surprise me, but she definitely impressed me. Quite confident and worthy taste gives out a tank - I will praise. The steam is dry, of moderate density, not heavy, and it is already immediately on inhalation. By the way, the same Sure subject in this regard still overtakes. I will christen TX as average - it certainly exists, but this instance is definitely not overbearing. Probably, in view of this, the taste transfer turns out to be kind of soft or something - unobtrusive - in this parameter, the subject reminds me more of a line of expromizers. Impression
In general, the tank turned out to be quite worthy, however, having a rich dowry of not the most pleasant features. Successful, though not problem-free in maintenance, the construct will please with its simplicity and reliability. Appearance can also be written as an advantage, however, as well as a generous package. Well, a decent taste transfer, coupled with a very affordable price tag, will gracefully complete the overall picture.
As a result, we can certainly recommend a cigarette maker. Yes, he has a decent bunch of nitpicks, but there are no directly critical ones among them - you can live/put up with such things absolutely calmly. But the positive aspects, in my opinion, have a more significant advantage - take at least the price.
