The Vandy Vape company is not idle and constantly releases refreshed and modernized versions of its flagship devices.
The latest portable cloud generator is Kylin 3.
Kylin 3 RTA is a massive atomizer for two coils, of course, nothing stands in the way of mounting one coil with a slightly larger diameter. Available in 5 color variants:
Black with a matte finish
Steel
rainbow
Black metallic
Gray
The Kylin V3 uses top airflow to dramatically reduce uncontrolled leaks.
This design is much more forgiving than bottom flow atomizers.
The whole works on a similar principle as in the case of the Kylin Mini 2. The capacity with the bulb glass is just over 6 ml, for MTL atomizers it would be a huge amount. However, for the latest Kylin, this is no problem. A properly armed atomizer with two coils literally breaks through the liquid. There will be several refills during the day. The Kylin V3 is a real beast that performs just as well on a single coil as it does on a double coil.
I was stunned what clouds this atomizer generates after installing the coils that the manufacturer puts in the package.
When it comes to airflow, we have a full-fledged DTL here.
We can breathe freely through this atomizer.
Of course, with two heaters, the cug is slightly reduced compared to a single heater.
The base looks like an enlarged version of the one present in the Kylin Mini V2 with an additional "strainer" placed centrally under the coils.
Arming the atomizer with coils looks the same as with any other atomizer with a base without posts.
It is enough to measure the appropriate length of the legs using the supplied "steps", the manufacturer suggests
choosing 7 mm and in fact this length seems to be optimal.
There is a lot of space for the media, although it could be a bit more, taking into account the specificity of the atomizer.
If we decide on two heaters, and we use very thick liquids, the cotton will have to be cut appropriately.
However, during testing, I personally had no transport problems with the Kylin V3 (60 VG / 40 PG).
However, I cannot fully understand why the upper cap used to refill the liquid is threaded, and the one that connects the base with the atomizer works on the principle of a quarter turn.
This is quite a problematic solution, which must be remembered when refilling the liquid, when the atomizer is screwed to the power supply.
Despite its minor design flaws, the Kylin V3 is everything that so many clouders love the Kylin series for.
We are dealing here with a real beast that will completely empty the 6 ml tank in the blink of an eye.
For this, it will repay us with huge clouds while maintaining the right taste qualities.
