Drag X Plus is a single-battery box mod that works both from 18650 and through 21700. It will go very hard for many people, especially for those who like cigarette tanks.

Tank
We have already seen this atomizer in Drag 3 . It is made of transparent plastic and black or steel-colored metal inserts. Above was placed a non-standard 810 drip tip on two orings.

For refueling, remove the cartridge from the metal insert. The tank holds 5.5 ml. The filling hole is quite large. The tank works on new TPP changers. There are two variations in the kit: 0.15 and 0.2-ohm grid. And this insert also supports old PNP cartridges, which will allow you to supply these coils and a suitable service base. On the base, we see the slots for blowing. Adjustment is carried out by turning the cartridge. The pin does not really stick out.

Mod review
The design, in general, remained similar to the Drag 3, taking into account the reduction to size with support for one 21700 battery.

Moreover, this device is already a familiar box mod. A 510 connector is installed on top.

The platform width is designed for the use of atomizers up to 25 mm. On the side and on the sides, there was a familiar insert made of eco-leather with a press out with the name of the device.

On the front panel, we see a color screen, control buttons and a Type-C port. Unlike Drag 3, here the Fire button received a small indentation for the thumb.

At the same time, the buttons do not play. The battery compartment cover with latches was placed on the bottom edge. It uses the same mechanism with two slots for improved fastening. The batteries fit tightly inside.

Board functionality
The board also moved from the "older" Draga - the usual GENE.FAN 2.0 is used. On the screen we see the charge, power, mode, resistance, counter and thrust timer. Two modes are available for operation: smart and RBA.

The smart mode will automatically adjust the wattage to the set resistance the first time. At the same time, after healing and reinstallation, the power will not change again. And to switch to a normal variable-watt, press Fire three times. To reset the rods, hold down Fire and minus. And to block all buttons, hold down Fire and plus. Changing the theme is done by a combination of plus and minus.

In general, the board supports power from 5 to 100 watts and boosts from 0.1 ohm. If thermal control is required, then the manufacturer has released a special firmware that is available on the official website.

Feedback on use
The new vaporizers convey taste quite well. But they did not notice much difference in comparison with the old PNPs. The drip tip is removable, but it will be problematic to find a replacement for it, as on the old Smok TFV.

The volume is large and the filling is convenient in principle. Airflow adjustment is present, but the standard cartridge is more designed for free draft. And for MTL you will have to buy it separately.

Small leaks, usual for cartridges, are present. In general, we get the usual cleric on mesh vapors. In the spacer, the tank sits quite tightly, while turning quite easily.

And like a box, we get a complete Drag design for one battery with a built-in 510 connector. The mod is assembled without any problems. It fits comfortably in the hand due to the softback. There is a margin for the site. The buttons don't dangle too much.

The redesigned lid did not open on its own during the tests. And the batteries do not dangle inside either, which speaks positively about quality control. But the board out of the box is no different from similar systems for POD systems.

Management is quite convenient, works quickly. Smart mode now works more interestingly - when you pull out the cartridge for refueling without replacing the evaporator, the installed power will not go astray.

But they did not forget about some of the users, so VOOPOO rolled out firmware with thermal control on their website. But there were some easy claims. If you leave Drag X plus without using it for 20 minutes, it automatically turns off, which is sometimes annoying. Also, an incomprehensible moment is the blocking of all buttons and not just the adjustments.

But this can also be fixed with a firmware update. In general, we get a pretty good mod for one battery. But the $ 55 price tag looks unreasonably high.
