Hi everyone,
This time I review this Smoant Ladon AIO Kit.
The kit consists of the Ladon box and the Ladon Sub- Ohm tank.
It comes in a box with a cardboard sleeve that protects it and that shows us the photo of the kit on the front while on the back, we find the content and the usual info of the manufacturer.
Ladon is available in 4 colors.
The one in my possession is Black + Red.
Opening the box, we find:
- Ladon 225 mod
- Replacement glass
- coil to mesh 0.16 ohms
- Ladon sub- ohm tank
- typ-c usb cable
- 0.15 ohm dual mesh coil
- spare parts
- manuals and warnings
The box is dual battery and delivers up to 225 watts.
In this image you will find all the technical characteristics.
On the front we find the screen, the + and - keys, the USB type-c socket and a metal honeycomb insert.
On the rear, the flap is covered with a material that looks like imitation leather ... however pleasant to the touch
On the lower part we find the markings and the vent holes of the batteries. On the upper one the cup that houses atom up to 28mm in diameter. On one side the power button.
Power button which is very hard to press, surely you will never accidentally press it
The battery door is also very tenacious: it remains very well anchored to the box and it is difficult to remove it
Here a small negative note: I would have liked the usual strip of fabric that helps us in removing the batteries.
The screen is very bright and is clearly visible even in sunlight.
The box can work both in VW and in TC. My tests have been carried out only in VW mode.
The box turns on and off with the usual 5 clicks of the fire button.
By pressing 3 times, you can switch between VW, DVW and the various TC modes, including of course the TCR.
DVW mode is the curve mode where we could directly manage the watts delivered at any moment.
The box does not recognize the insertion of a new tank or a new coil inside it when we are in VW mode. As I said before the fire button is very rigid but once pressed it guarantees instantaneous and constant delivery thanks to the excellent chips of the box: AI smart ANT-chip and Buck-boost chip
Chips that manage batteries very well .... few times I found a box that would guarantee me such a long autonomy.
Ladon Tank
Ladon is a 28 mm diameter atomizer and a capacity of 4/6 ml depending on the coil we use.
In the upper part we find a button that will allow us, thanks to a spring, to access the buttonhole to carry out the refill.
On the lower part the gold lacquered pin and markings.
The coil supplied are 2: a single coil 0.16 ohms and a dual 0.15 ohm. Entrambe are coil to mesh.
The dual coil is very large.
In addition to these coils, it is possible to buy the RBA base separately in order to regenerate our atom like any RTA .
I really like this versatility even though I couldn't try that base.
The coils, as recommended by the manufacturer, are to be pushed to about 80 watts: the single I appreciated around 75 watts while the dual 80 watts.
Final thoughts
I really liked this kit.
The box is well built with excellent materials. It is true that the fire button is a bit hard and the battery door remains very anchored to the box, but it is still a symptom of good materials.
Delivery is fluid and immediate.
But the thing that surprised me is the management of the batteries .... record-breaking !!!!
Few times have I encountered such a thing.
The atom is definitely from the cloud and you have to push it to be able to appreciate it.
The coils are very good and after about 1 running-in tank, there is an excellent flavor and a huge production of steam.
Not loving particularly hot steam, I personally prefer the single coil which, already around 70 watts, is respected.
With this atom you have excellent versatility, buying the RBA coil that will allow us to build our own coil as we do in other RTAs.
Summing up, I would recommend this kit.
