Steam Crave Aromamizer Titan V2 RDTA

Make way for a very cute little ato today: the Titan V2 RDTA from my friends at Steam Crave. I consider them as my friends because I use two boxes of their creation on a daily basis (two Titan V1.5), as well as two of their atos (the Ragnar RDTA and the Supreme V3 RDTA). Anyway, the Titan V2 is, at choice, a rebuildable tank atomizer and therefore an RTA, or a dripper and therefore an RDA. At Steam Crave, RTA + RDA = RDTA… In reality, this ato is not really an RDTA, but it is a question of point of view. An old Belgian actor once explained to us that 1 + 1 = 1 or maybe even 11… Otherwise, more seriously, my mini ato of the day is only 41 mm in diameter and can contain 20 ml of juice (or even 32 ml ... ). All that stuff ... Soon atos of 2 meters for 20 liters of capacity ... In short, the Titan V2 has a postless tray equipped with a 360 ° aeration system that promises! It also has the particularity of being able to be mounted in parallel or in series. I can't wait to see if this brings something to the vaping of this machine.

The package contains:

  • An Aromamizer Titan V2 RDTA atomizer.
  • A spare 20 ml Pyrex reservoir.
  • A bag of spare parts (spare gaskets and replacement screws).
  • A multifunction key.
  • A Steam Crave sticker.
  • Two spare 32 ml Pyrex reservoirs.
  • A chimney to bring the ato to 32 ml.
  • Two vape bands.
  • A user's manual.
  • We are spoiled with this ato. It comes with as many accessories as a Wotofo. Otherwise, more seriously, spare pyrexes can come in handy. Here, we are quiet ...

  • What intrigued me, and therefore interested me, with this atomizer, is that it is possible to mount it in parallel or in series ...

I guessed that it would change the value of the overall resistance if we mounted two resistors in series and the same two in parallel. But what titillated my curiosity rather did it change the vape? I would have bought this ato just to have the answer to this question if it had not been offered to me ... however, I was wrong about the problem because the rendering of this Titan is sublime whether we are in parallel or in series, we don't care, this ato is so monstrous… Come on, we still look at what it looks like with these editing stories, even if I have already sold the wick (cotton)…

The "series" assembly of the Steam Crave Aromamizer Titan V2 RDTA:

Yep, for this test I chose the favorite yarn of our national Clando, the KA1 twisted 2 * 28Ga. I made six turns on a diameter 30 to have a little material. Sorry guys, this is the biggest yarn I have. Otherwise, with the Titan V2, there is room, we cut the legs of the coils to 6 mm and we can do what we want ...

The assembly rolls by itself and the cotton is also very simple. We put the dose and we can taste. By the way, resistance at 1.52 ohm is obtained under these conditions with a series connection. The same resistors in parallel give 0.39 ohm and are therefore more vapable.

With such a high resistance (1.52 ohms), you can imagine that you have to push the Titan V1.5 hard enough and I don't like that. In addition, it takes a long time to heat up. I want the instant-sweet, the nervous-kind. I never exceed 40 per hour in my vape. I don't know why but it annoys me to go higher. I want autonomy, always more autonomy. I want my four batteries to last four days, not one… That's also why these serial stories don't interest me anymore. So I can calmly take out my very simple Kanthal A1 and really start playing, despite the fact that the result with the twisted in parallel was famous. It is rather promising all the same this case.

The "parallel" assembly of the Steam Crave Aromamizer Titan V2 RDTA:

There, I am in my element. Six turns of a good little KA1 24G on a 30 axis and a small 0.25-ohm resistor later that I could vape cushy at 3.2 volts (id is 41 watts).

I then take out my thickest Gentle Cotton lace and in 30 seconds it's done. With a plateau-like that, your imagination is only limitable, as it is crazy, just like its rendering ...

The vape of the Steam Crave Aromamizer Titan V2 RDTA:

You already know that I considered the Ragnar of the same brand as the best ato in the world for its restitution of flavors. Well the Titan V2 is even better. He is bigger, bigger, but also stronger and more powerful ...

He dissects my Italian Tabaccheria Cigar with unprecedented and unparalleled precision. It is surgical and devilishly effective in its rendering. It is a steam engine but also, and above all, flavor. We feel all the nuances of its juice with this ato and it is, therefore, an incredible pleasure to vape with it.

The airflow of this ato is perfect. I love its draw. Like the Ragnar, I vape it at the penultimate notch because otherwise, they are too airy for me. The print is pure and perfect. It is dense at will. I feel the steam invade my mouth in a fraction of a second and I know that every time it is going to be very white and full of flavor.

Screwed on the Titan V1.5, the Titan V2 RDTA sits there like an emperor and I have a kit of infinite beauty. It does not protrude a bit (despite what one might think in the following shot, funny optical effect…). They are made for each other and it shows.

Finally, let's talk about the expansion kit for two seconds. The dream, to have an ato of 32 ml of capacity… Well, that will remain for the moment of the domain of the dream. As for his brother the Ragnar, this kit destroys the flavors and distorts the draw as not allowed. The path is becoming too long. The vape loses in saturation and consistency. The draw loses power and fishing and the snorkel effect points the tip of its nose. Quite simply, the Titan softens in this configuration… he who is otherwise so majestic…

Overall, the Titan V2 RDTA seems much bigger than the Ragnar RDTA (which is already huge). And, indeed, it is indeed! Everything the Ragnar does so beautifully, the Titan does it even better. It is definitely the ultimate atomizer. I haven't bought a single ato since I got the Ragnar. And I can tell you that I will still be able to save a while ...

Happy vaping pirates !!!
