G-TASTE Aries 30 RTA measures 30mm in diameter that allows the use of three coils.
It arrives in a box with the brand name, and the atomizer logo printed: a stylized ram's head inserted in a circle and intersected by an esoteric six-pointed star.
Inside we find the atomizer in 10ml configuration, a 6ml spare glass can be used by unscrewing a part of the chimney and an additional drip tip of different color and size, taller and narrower.
Specifications:
The atomizer in my possession is of Gun Metal color and as regards the technical specifications and the various colors available.
We come now to the particularities of this atomizer.
Classic top cup that can be easily unscrewed thanks to a vertical cutting process, also taken in the base, which allows a good grip.
The slots for the refill are well sized, the pin is gold plated, but it is not very protruding.
The Postless Deck is spacious (can accommodate three coils side by side), as are the slots for inserting cotton.
The Mid Cup, on which the logo is engraved, includes the slots that allow the liquid to reach the Deck, the large bell, which has an internal size of about 20mm and the ring for adjusting the airflow.
The air hits the coils laterally through two hole airflows, one consisting of three rows and the other from a single row.
I preferred not to use the three coils supplied, "build" already seen and revised on the tube, but I preferred to try it in dual coil, using 5 turns on a 3mm tip (Alien 0.3 * 0.8 + 32), with variable wattage, depending on the liquid and the capacity of the airflow used, between 70 and 100 W.
The positioning of the coils is immediate, with Allen screws that allow them to be tightened.
Fairly easy to build, it does not lose a drop, but I recommend not to use coils greater than 3mm and to keep the legs of the coils, with a maximum length of 5 mm.
Final thoughts:
It is undeniable that this atomizer remembers, by type and size, the Aromamizer Plus, while the Deck recalls instead the Glaz RDSA; a sort of mashup between two excellent products.
That said, the differences between the two atomizers are different and structural.
The Aries is made up of far fewer pieces, it does not have liquid control, it does not have interchangeable Decks (the Plus can be equipped with 5 different Decks), it does not have the possibility of becoming a 20 ml boiler with capacity, nor to become an RDA.
On the other hand, it is much simpler, has a Triple Coil Deck, and a more advanced airflow system, which allows a better air participation; system that was later revisited by Steam Crave itself, in the recently released Aromamizer Plus V2.
The equipment is rich, even if the Drip Tip is horrible ("cassette" instantly), and the accessory to cut the coils to size is missing, also because the bell is wide, but not very deep.
Also aesthetically, it reminds a little of the Aromamizer Plus, but it has a sidecut in the airflow control ring, which distinguishes it.
