First impressions:
I was immediately impressed to discover how well the packaging is particularly rich in spare parts and accessories, there are even 16 Coils to regenerate the new Siren V3 at will!
Wanting to nitpick, I would say that a replacement Drip-Tip is missing in the rich package, in fact, the standard one is extremely large and in the overall compact line of the Device it appears out of place, luckily the Drip-Tip 510 is replaceable at will.
To learn more about this new Kit I took the Aspire Mixx (a very similar and equally captivating SBS) from the drawer to compare it directly to the new Digiflavor Z1. The first visual differences seem essentially relegated to different decorative choices.
To the touch, both Mods instill an excellent feeling of quality and robustness, the corners of Digiflavor Z1 appear slightly smoother, while the dimensions are almost identical.
Wanting to investigate thoroughly, I exclude the atomizers (Siren V3 and Nautilus GT mini) and I go to weigh both Mods.
And here is the most relevant surprise, that is the weight ... The Z1 Digiflavor SBS in this respect wins big, in fact with a saving of about 50g clearly improves what was perhaps the only limitation of the beautiful Aspire Mixx SBS. So after a substantial draw, the best portability due to the significantly lower weight earns Digiflavor Z1 SBS (in my personal ranking) a precious little point.
The lateral aspect of Digiflavor Z1 is characterized by the type of decorative insert which can be in stabilized wood or "multicolored shell", will the latter be a real shell? I am not given to know, it will probably be IML or something. In relief on both sides there is also a plate screwed with two torx screws that bears the wording "Digiflavor".
On the front half-height we find the square-shaped Fire key with red edges, the small screen with OLED display and the "+" and "-" adjustment keys that have the same shape but are smaller.
On the back, the appearance is the classic one of SBS systems with much of the casing enclosing the cell that remains visible. At the top near the cap there are 3 large decorative slits.
The cup is screwed to the mod via two torx screws and the pin is floating, I noticed that compared to other SBS systems the atomizer is positioned rather low on the Z1, probably with very short TPD atomizers the long original Drip-Tip could be useful and therefore have a practical sense.
The battery cap in the Z1 is full, i.e. the mod has no ventilation slots at the top but only at the bottom and in a safe position.
The cap has the "-" symbol inside, the compartment/battery on the bottom has the "+" symbol indicated, the pin is self-adjusting to facilitate the operation of tightening the cap when closing.
On the bottom of the Mod, we find some words and 3 vent holes laser engraved.
USB-C charging socket is located in this area * It is not recommended to use the built-in USB charging function on mods that use replaceable lithium-ion cells, lithium-ion batteries must be charged in a balanced way using a charger appropriate exterior to avoid unnecessary risks.
Siren V3 GTA tank MTL :
The Siren 3 GTA (if we exclude the huge metal Drip-Tip), in the external appearance and in the volume has practically remained unchanged. The Tank is built-in stainless steel with a diameter of 24mm and a height of 44mm, the capacity of 4.0ml is slightly less than that of the predecessor (4.5ml).
The airflow towards the coils has not changed, under the Coil there is an insert with three holes, thanks to which the flow is uniformly directed, however, the deck of the Siren 3 RTA has undergone some slight changes; that is, it has become much more convenient to tighten the screws after inserting the Coil, because the screws are now on the top of the turrets and not on the side, furthermore the base itself is less raised than the bottom, this leads to a shorter length of the mustache.
The refill is done by rotating the top-Cap which has the "bayonet" coupling, the refueling slots are quite large and are comfortable.
On the bottom are the usual laser engraved lettering and the slightly protruding gold-plated contact pin.
Externally on the bell, you can see the modified logo and a different and more marked type of knurling on the Top-Cap. The bell inside maintains substantially the same volume as the previous one but has a more flattened and compressed upper profile.
The supply of spare coils is particularly rich, in fact, Digiflavor has inserted 16 pre-assembled coils in a beautiful package with 4 compartments, it is a pity that all the coils are rolled upside down.
As can be seen from the images below, regenerating the Tank Siren 3 is even easier thanks to the new position of the clamping screws/coil.
However, the supplied coils should be rewound so as not to find them too close to the bottom of the deck, in fact, due to how they have been rolled, the legs are facing downwards. To get the right distance (coil/deck) is much better to keep the leg facing up, especially with the use of a coil of Ø2.5mm diameter.
Air is drawn in through a row of five holes on the AFC. The tightening of the Puff is regulated by two different air intakes; one oval and one round. With their help, it is possible to open both one and more air intake channels, this allows you to set a fairly precise draft for the MTL vape.

In conclusion, is it worth buying Digiflavor Z1 SBS Siren V3 Kit?
The changes to the Siren V3 MTL RTA are not so significant, in practice in use, it seems to me to perceive a slightly higher amount of Hit, the excellent performance in MTL remains substantially unchanged as well as the good level of silence and the excellent reliability against the liquid leaks.
So in case you own the predecessor Tank, you will appreciate in the V3 a facilitated regeneration and a slightly different appearance, probably also a better feeding of the cotton which is now at a shorter distance from the bottom.
If, on the other hand, you are looking for a fairly light SBS Mod, very nice, economically interesting and equipped with essential operating modes, the Z1 SBS certainly could please you.
